Getting to us by Train/Bus/Coach:

Southampton is well served by direct train services from London Waterloo (75 mins), the Midlands and the North. Upon arrival at Southampton Train Station you can board a free bus service transporting you to Hythe Ferry Terminal at Town Quay. The Hythe Ferry leaves 2 times an hour and the journey takes only 12 minutes. After travelling along the Pier on the Narrow Gauge Railway you will be in the Centre of Hythe Village and both properties are then within easy walking distance.

Travelling around the New Forest & Hythe

There is a safety audited National cycle route from Hythe to Brockenhurst, and cycles can be hired/pre-booked in Hythe & Brockenhurst.

A fantastic way to explore the New Forest is on the New Forest Tour Bus. You can hop on and off around the New forest all day and even take your bike for free.

The Tour bus stops in Hythe 3 times a day morning, noon and late afternoon. This runs from 26th May to 2nd September 2007.
